On Hold

After much discussion, we have decided to place the podcast on hold for the time being. We are not saying it will never be back, but at this point, neither of us have the time to put on the quality show we would like to do. In the future, we certainly may reassess and go forward, but for now, we are on indefinite hiatus. To those of you who listened regularly and enjoyed the show - Thanks for your support! We hope to be back in the future.

Best Regards,

Stephen and Zack

Update

2 Guys and a Film will return on April 12.

We will still feature reviews of many of the latest theatrical releases, but we will begin also highlighting more DVD releases and marathons. We also want to solicit user input for films to review.

The reason for this change is simple: We just don’t want to review a new film that you most likely have very little interest in just so we have a theatrical review for the show.

We want our DVD reviews to provide an opportunity to discuss films that otherwise may be overlooked.

Again, we will continue our theatrical reviews. However, when Duke of Hazzard 17 is released, we will most likely choose a DVD that week. :)

So, we’ll see you back here on April 12.

In the meantime:

Stephen Recommends: 300

Zack Highly Recommends: Breach

Episode #30 on Thursday

Due to unavoidable scheduling issues, Episode 30 will be available on Thursday, February 22. Sorry for the delay…

No Show This Week

Because of an insane week at work (Stephen’s) and therefore having no time to see the movie for this week, there will not be a show this week. Sorry for any inconvenience. However, we will be back to our normal schedule next week. Also, our calendar for January and February should be up later today, so please check it out.

Episode #24 on Thursday

Due to some sickness and the holidays, this week’s episode will not be available until Thursday, January 4. So please check back Thursday afternoon. Our apologies for the delay.

Episode #20 Tomorrow

Due to an unexpected and unavoidable work conflict, this week’s episode will be avaiable tomorrow, December 6. Our apologies for the delay!

Happy Thanksgiving

With this week being Thanksgiving, and the crazy schedules that this holiday creates, we will not be doing a show this week. Our apologies for any inconvenience. Please tune in next week when we take a look at the new Bond film, Casino Royale, along with Tony Scott’s Deja Vu, starring Denzel Washington. There will also be a mini review of Happy Feet and don’t miss our Top Ten Christmas Movies. Tune in next Wednesday.

Episode 17 - Next Week

Update: Episode 17 will post Wednesday. It will be hopefully our final extended episode for a while, with reviews of The Prestige and Brick. Thanks for your patience!

Update 2

Things should be slowing down here in the next couple days, so we should definitely be back on our regular schedule next week. We have several interesting films to catch up with, so please be sure to stay tuned. Again, our apologies for the extended delay!

Update

Apologies for the extended delay. Due to an insanely ridiculous work schedule (Zack’s) the last couple weeks, we have literally had no time to record. We should hopefully be back to our normal schedule shortly. Thanks for your patience!

Delayed

This week’s scheduled episode will be delayed by a few days. We will post Episode #16 on Monday, the 23rd. Due to scheduling conflicts, we have not been able to record this week. Sorry for the delay - but be sure to check back Monday for our review of A Prairie Home Companion and then again on Wednesday for our reviews of Flags of our Fathers and the 3D re-release of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Schedule Change

Due to schedule conflicts and outside commitments, this week’s episode will post on Friday instead of Wednesday. So, be watching Friday for our review of Invincible - plus, our Top 10 Summer Blockbustersi.
